Downton Abbey star Michelle Dockery is flying the flag for the UK at the Golden Globes tonight, but she's doing so wearing a dress by a french designer. Her beautiful fluid white bias cut gown with armour-like gold breastplate is by Alexandre Vauthier. It's a really interesting shape, and a nice surprise in a sea of structured red dresses and floaty beige numbers.

We love that she's kept her bobbed hair quite soft in gentle waves, to play off the structured top half of the dress - a bun or sleek updo would make this look too severe. A gold clutch, bangle and statement green jewel ring finish the look - definitely one of our favourites so far!
