Karen Millen taps Amber Le Bon for Spring 2013
Those Le Bons sure are a force to be reckoned with at the moment. Mother and daughter are really racking up the campaigns this season, between the two of them they seem to be dominating. Amber Le Bon has just been named as the new face of Karen Millen's Spring/Summer 2013 campaign. She follows in the footsteps of her 48-year-old mother, Yasmin Le Bon, who also stars in a SS13 campaign which we're not suppose to talk about yet... shhh!
But back to Amber who appears in the latest ad campaign for Karen Millen wearing a variety of pieces that include spotted trousers, dresses and floral print jackets. "We chose Amber as not only is she very beautiful, she is also highly creative and dedicates some of her time to high profile charity work. This interesting blend embodies the modern confident spirit of the Karen Millen woman," a spokesperson for the brand told Grazia UK.
Sporting a slicked back hairstyle, the 23-year-old uses her strong brows and fierce eyes to stand out against the futuristic backdrop which features oversized white and silver balloons. Hmm... yeah I don't quite get it either but it looks kind of cool.
In addition to modelling, the daughter of Simon Le Bon, confesses that she also likes to play the piano. "I find it very therapeutic. I like to play Chopin - especially if I'm feeling angry. Sometimes I'll join in with [him] but he's a better musician than he is a teacher - I can't keep up!"
I'm not surprised, you? Check out a video from the campaign below...
