Justin Timberlake teams up with Tom Ford
A fresh new partnership has hit our radar with the news that Justin Timberlake and Tom Ford have teamed up for J.T.'s forthcoming album. The designer has helped to create the artwork for Justin's upcoming album, The 20/20 Experience, which is due out later this year.
Ford designed the looks worn by the performer in the video and artwork for his new single which is appropriately named 'Suit & Tie,' starring Jay-Z. For the single cover, J.T. sports a tuxedo, featuring satin lapels, a white shirt and a Ford signature large satin bowtie. He wears further pieces including a three-piece suit and a black peak lapel two-piece tuxedo which can be seen in the song's official lyric video, below.
Ford has spoken about the level of input Timberlake and his team had in creating the visual look for his new album. He reveals that the pair worked closely together to come up with a range of bespoke tailoring options, including eveningwear and accessories, that will feature heavily across Timberlake's The 20/20 Experience, the first album for the singer in six years.
"I adore Justin. He has innate style and enormous talent. It has been such a pleasure and honour to work with him throughout this entire creative process," says Ford.
Hmm... do I smell a potential movie collaboration between these two somewhere down the line?
