When Jayma Mays hit the red carpet for the 2013 SAG Awards in a heavily beaded white gown, twitter chat mostly surrounded the question of whether Jayma and her stylist Ilaria Urbinati had been taking tips from Anne Hathaway. It's true that Jayma's Georges Hobeika Atelier gown does have something in common with Anne's Chanel Couture dress from the Golden Globes, but the floral detail around the hem, the longer train and the different neckline give the white textured gown a new twist. We're not sure about the drop waist, but this is the year The Great Gatsby returns, so it's no surprise a bit of 20s inspiration has crept in on the red carpet, and it does give the dress a slightly more relaxed feel. If this was super-fitted it might have been a bit bridal and over the top. Jayma teams her dress with Jimmy Choo shoes, Neil Lane jewellery and the requisite Judith Liber clutch.

Meanwhile, on the other end of the colour spectrum was Naya Rivera, who wore a killer Donna Karan Atelier gown with a textured, layered top half with sheer detail across the bust. The ever-present red carpet fishtail was present, and we think this works better on Naya than it did on Taylor Swift, who wore a similar skirt shape from Donna Karan (albeit about twice the size) to the Golden Globes. We're surprised how many younger celebs are turning to Karan - who is quite classic and mature in terms of her aesthetic - for their red carpet moments rather than looking to cooler, younger up and coming designers, but when it works the way it does with Naya, we're not complaining!

Never one to shy away from a bold red carpet moment, Lea Michele brought out her cuter side for the SAG Awards (which we're happy about - we love it when she does sexy but she looks more at home in pretty looks). Lea's stylist Estee Stanley put the Glee star in a pink strapless Valentino Resort 2013 gown with a full skirt and tiered hemline, teamed with Jennifer Meyer drop earrings and Jimmy Choo 'Lilac' shoes.

We love this cute twitpic of Lea with her glam squad (makeup artist Melanie Inglessis is wearing a mask because she's sick). This is how many people it takes to get a girl ready for the SAGs!

Meanwhile, Amber Riley joked she had "A lot of layers" and she was interviewed on the red carper in her black and purple gown with embellished front panels by Christian Siriano. There's definitely a lot of tulle going on here, but it works because she's kept everything else very simple. The short hair with a glossy fringe looks incredible on her, and tonal makeup brings out the purples in the dress without looking too 90s prom matchy-matchy.

Amber has been tweeting pics from the SAG Awards - apparently the Glee cast is so big there are multiple tables, but she looks like she's having fun with the girls. Check out this snap for the first peek at Heather Morris...

And here's Heather's dress in all its glory. It's by Gomez Gracia, it's called the Starlet gown (how appropriate) and if you like it you can actually buy it online now, for £1700 by clicking here.
