We may only just be setting our minds onto Spring / Summer 2013, but for the designers, Autumn / Winter 2013 is in full swing. Fashion weeks are set to descend upon the fashion capitals around the world come February where a bevvy of fall themed beauties will be upon us, so in advance of this,Raf Simons has released some of his pre-fall snaps for Dior for the season ahead.
The newly released shots, which are set in the French fashion house's workshop, feature a sneak peek at what we can expect from the Dior label for AW13. Having made his mark for Spring / Summer 2013, it looks like Raf Simons is settling into his role at the helm of Dior quite nicely. Hi first Pre-Fall offering for the brand shows no sign of hesitation with a clear direction both intended and achieved.
Playing on the labels notorious timeless signature classics, the collection adds a modern element introducing masculine silhouettes, super clean modernist lines and show stopping evening wear that we're sure to see grace a red carpet or two in the coming months. Think modern colour blocking with interesting origami type shaping, sculptured silhouettes in a geometric hounds tooth print and monochrome suiting with an androgynous edge.
