Emma Watson in Peter Pilotto - People's Choice Awards 2013

Emma Watson not only made an appearance at last night's People's Choice Awards, she also won! The British actress scooped the award for Favourite Dramatic Movie Actress for her role in The Perks of Being a Wallflower. The film, which has been receiving rave reviews, also won an award for Favourite Dramatic Movie last night.

On the red carpet Emma chose to represent the best of British fashion by donning a eye-popping graphic print dress from Peter Pilotto's Spring 2013 collection (we all know how much she loves Pilotto!). The minidress, which was actually shortened from the catwalk version, has a lot going on. It includes cut-out sections in the top half, a peplum waist, and a brightly coloured print skirt section which was custom made from a thigh-splitting mid-length skirt into a mini skirt. Her simple strappy black patent leather sandals were a great match for this outfit.

On the other hand, she is clearly growing out her pixie hair cut, which is understandably difficult, but I am a little disappointed in her choice of hairstyle. It appears as though she just threw it up herself in a boring half-up 'do. Due to the risqué style of the dress, a simple sleek pony tail, French roll, or messy bun would have worked just as well. Some serious styling was missing here. I'm also not a huge fan of the lipstick shade, but I love that she has really played up her youthful side by daring to even wear this piece. Not many would!

Tell us, what do you think of Emma's ensemble from the People's Choice Awards? Is it a winner just like she is?
