What Kate Middleton wore this Christmas
Christmas Day may have now come and go (we hope you had a lovely one!) but we couldn't resist an opportunity to discuss what the Duchess of Cambridge wore on the day. This year Prince William forgo the Royal traditional church service in Sandringham, instead choosing to stay by his wife's side as she attended service with her family in Berkshire.
The Middletons gathered at St Mark's Church in Englefield where a pregnant Kate opted to dress in her best winter get-up. The Duchess revisited items which has previously been spotted wearing including a brown wool crepe 'Celeste' coat by Hobbs. She was seen wearing this exact coat in February this year when she visited Liverpool.
To add a bit of colour to her ensemble, Kate wrapped a bright red scarf around her neck. She also carried a red Gucci monogrammed bag, featuring the iconic Gucci horsebit detailing, from the 1921 Collection. She completed her outfit with a pair of black patterned tights and her favourite Ruby Dry ankle boots from Russell & Bromley.
Overall, it was a relatively demure look for the Duchess, who has been suffering from a severe case of morning sickness recently. In contrast with her fellow Royals including the Princesses Beatrice and Eugene, and Zara Phillips who all took the opportunity to dress up in their finest coats and hats for church services at St Mary Magdalene Church in Sandringham. Even the Queen, who was recovering from a bad cold, threw on some bright turquoise to celebrate the Christmas festivities.
