More details on Drew Barrymore's cosmetics line for Wal-Mart
It's happening! Drew Barrymore is launching a colour cosmetics line for Wal-Mart called Flower. We first told you about the collaboration in October, now more details about the line have emerged.
The name Flower derives from Drew's production company, Flower Films. She now co-owns the beauty label with design and manufacturing company Maesa Group. Set to launch in 1,509 stores in January, the line will consist of 70 products in the face category, 44 in eye, 51 in lip and 16 in nail.
Speaking of her involvement in the brand, she told WWD: "I think, if you really care about things, then you just naturally get involved. I don't want to sit there and hope it works out. I want to be in the middle, in the mix, making sure it works out. It is almost an uncontrollable desire to be one of the people who is creating. Maybe it is just a type of personality. I can't sleep at night. I care."
It seems the new mum is due for some more sleepless nights thanks to her two-month-old daughter, Olive Kopelman. Products for the Flower line range from $4.98 to $13.98 via Wal-Mart stores and online at walmart.com
