London Fashion Week Autumn/Winter 2013 schedule unveiled
Yesterday we told you about L'Wren Scott joining the London Fashion Week schedule, now we can reveal said schedule to you!
The provisional timetable for LFW's Autumn/Winter 2013 shows have been revealed and there is much to look forward to. In addition to L'Wren Scott, other big names on the agenda include Matthew Williamson, Temperley London, Jonathan Saunders, Preen by Thornton Bregazzi, and Giles.
Returning to the catwalk is Julien Macdonald who will show at LFW on Saturday 16th February. Tom Ford is also back again and for the first time is officially on the schedule. Despite presenting his womenswear collection during LFW for the past couple of seasons this is the first time that he has actually put his name to the calendar. His show is slated for 7pm on Monday 18th February.
The British Fashion Council has employed Manolo Blahnik to create a marketing campaign for London Fashion Week's AW13 season. His images (pictured, left) will be used to promote the event across print, digital and social media platforms.
"English women and their style inspire me tremendously," said Blahnik. "This series of drawings represents some of the figures I adore and who have influenced my life and work. I like extreme girls, and the combination of the poise, the grandeur and the beauty of English women."
Speaking about Blahnik's involvement, BFC chief executive Caroline Rush said: "Manolo's sketches are world-famous, and it will be both great fun and inspirational to see these displayed across London Fashion Week in February 2013."
