Jerry Hall joins Georgia May Jagger for Sunglass Hut campaign
Team Jagger-Hall are combining their good looks once more for a new campaign. Jerry Hall and Georgia May Jagger have teamed up again, this time to front a new set of ads for Sunglass Hut.
Jagger, who has been the face of the brand since June, has already appeared in two campaigns with her boyfriend, muso/model Josh McLellan. Now the company has decided to invite more members of Georgia's inner circle by asking her legendary mother to model for them.
"Mum's such a good model I always get nervous about shooting with her," said Jagger on the set of the photo shoot.
"Oh, she's already so good," said Hall. "The best modeling advice I've given her is to be on time and be nice to everyone. I've also gotten [my children] to watch a lot of old movies so they'd know about Hollywood glamour."
Mother and daughter appear in a new Mother's Day campaign together. Photographer Matt Irwin captured them hugging in front of a simple yellow backdrop while wearing cat-eye sunglasses from Luxottica brands Vogue Eyewear and Tiffany & Co.
"What we try to celebrate in Mother's Day is love, respect, recognition for mothers, how they want to be women, and their passion for fashion," said Fabio D'Angelantonio, Luxottica's chief marketing officer. "Jerry and Georgia have a beautiful mother-daughter relationship, and that is the angle we put in the campaign. You can see how much Georgia's style comes from mother and how Jerry's style is continuing in her daughter."
"We had a fun time; we got to hug a lot," added Hall. "Georgia's so busy so it was nice to spend so much time together. And all the kids are coming home for Christmas."
The pair have previously worked together for H&M and Invisible Zinc.
