Cara Delevingne fronts DKNY Spring 2013 campaign
Wowzers that Cara Delevingne is sure kicking some goals at the moment. The British model has just been cast as the new face of DKNY and stars in a colourful campaign for the label's spring / summer 2013 collection.
Shot by Patrick Demarchelier on the busy streets of New York, Cara rocks a variety of contrasting all-white and primary colour outfits. She also models some serious accessories which feel like a throwback to the Nineties - cue the headphones, rucksack, and bum bag (a.k.a. fanny pack). This isn't the first time she has worked with DKNY. She also took to the catwalk for the brand at New York Fashion Week last September.
Delevingne takes over the reins from Ashley Greene as the face of Donna Karan's secondary line. The Twilight actress has fronted campaigns for the past couple of seasons. For Karan's mainline, she has recruited Karlie Kloss to star in the spring / summer 2013 campaign.
This latest gig caps off a stellar year for Cara. Last month she was crowned Model of the Year by the BFC at the British Fashion Awards. Speaking of their decision, the British Fashion Council said: "Cara's unique sense of style and flair in front of the camera has made her one of the most prominent names in fashion, walking in an impressive 31 shows in September."
