Skyfall: The Bond girls (women) hit the fashion spotlight
Yesterday saw the photo call in the lead up to the premiere of the new James Bond film, Skyfall, which happens in London tonight. With 007 regular Daniel Craig having already hit the picture board for his infamous blue steel type snaps, it was the turn of brand new Bond girls Naomie Harris and Bérénice Marlohe to take centre stage.
For the occasion, French actress Bérénice opted for a sophisticated Dolce and Gabbana tweed dress with contour style detailing, showcasing a sexy, chic and refined style, whilst co-star Naomie opted for an all-white Chanel Spring 2012 textured dress teamed with detailed Pierre Hardy shoes (see more of these here).
In an interview earlier that day on the Lorraine Show, Naomie explained why she doesn't care for the 007 female title, "Bérénice Marlohe and I are in our thirties so I think it is more appropriate that we are called Bond Women, rather than Bond Girls. Because we are not girls anymore."
It's safe to say we wouldn't mind the title, whatever age we were. Watch this space for the premiere dress selections from the two sophisticated women this evening.
