Dress of the day: George lace overlay formal dress
We have a bet going at CQ towers that neon green is going to be the sleeper hit of the Autumn / Winter 2012 season (thanks, in most part, to Acne). Little did we know that the UK's budget retailers seem to be in on the joke, as we keep spotting the oh-so-unflattering colour popping up on trims, details and in the case of this bargain lacy dress, linings.
Let's be honest, this is probably the best way to wear the shade if you're not off to a rave any time soon. While neon pink and yellow can work, the green is more difficult to pull off without looking cheap. Pop it under a darker shade, and you might be in more luck.
George is pushing this baby in the run-up to Halloween for those who don't fancy going all out in the costume department, and we couldn't think of a better time to wear it. At £16, it's a cheap way to get in on a trend and a tradition...go on, you know you want to!
