Renowned for our unique creativity, diversity and fresh fashion thinking here in the country's capital, the first day of London Fashion Week of course brought with it the directional's of Fyodor Golan and Bora Aksu, but alongside came the classic fashion week regulars, like Caroline Charles.

Not to be pushed out from the fashion week spotlight, the former Mary Quant colleague has developed finely honed signatures in the form of sophisticated separates and grown up fashion, which her specific customer comes back for season after season. For Spring / Summer 2013, it seems the established designer is pushing the boundaries in terms of colour which was awash throughout the collection.

The show started on a high with a selection of chic retro inspired swimwear which went down a tropical Latin route. The tropical theme print then ran onto dresses and separates. Following this a selection of trademark pieces came down the catwalk including midi length dresses, palazzo trousers and cropped colourful jackets. The show's finale included a high volume white summer dress with oversized hat. Check it all out in the video above.
