Day three of London Fashion Week kicked off with another early start over at classic designer, Margaret Howell. The iconically British brand, decided to host their show at their central London store, which to our surprise, made a pretty great venue. The all white walls were the perfect backdrop to the Spring / Summer 2013 offering from Howell, whilst backstage was an authentic setting, sewing machines and all.

Known for her attention to detail when it comes to tailoring, Margaret Howell sticks to what she does best, and who can blame her? Spring / Summer 2013 brought a new masculine take, with a real focus on the white shirt as well as androgynous separates and simplistic styling. Sharp and slick formal looking items hung from rails, whilst the white items stood out.

Margaret says the collection was, "inspired by the cool classicism of the white shirt. We've used cottons and linens in pale shirting shades of blue, grey and white for loose cut shirts and parkas, worn over narrow-legged trousers - simple shapes with a strong silhouette."
