After J.W. Anderson's intoxicatingly addictive tartan collaboration with Topshop it's fair to say his SS2013 collection, The Treatment Room, was pretty highly anticipated.

We rocked up to the Topshop show space and settled down amongst the star-studded crowd - BRITA Fill&Go water filters dotted along the rows, Azealia Bank's forehead bindi sparkled across the room and Daisy Lowe and Pixie Geldof cosied up in a corner.

Models hit the catwalk adorned in oversized ruffles, subtle toned-down prints and tailored pieces that looked as if suits had been turned inside out, each piece giving the collection an androgynous feel, blurring the lines between genders as J.W. intended.

The designer himself described the collection by saying 'It centers around the idea of filling a white canvas which then becomes part of the garment. I have tried to combine extremely technical methods with a feeling of heritage.'

J.W. accessorised simply with large rubber boots, thick chain necklaces and bracelets and ruffled clutch bags. His quilted leather jackets particularly tickled our fancy as they had a certain versatility and accessibility and we could see them translate onto the high street a treat.

Beauty was kept quite masculine also as model's hair was slicked back into long, straight ponytails whilst their faces were painted with dark eyes and nude lips. See a video of the show highlights below.
