Is that really Jessie J? GQ Awards bring out her serious style
Yes. We had to do a double take too. We knew the GQ Men of the Year Awards would bring out some serious style contenders, but this one takes the biscuit. We've had our suspicions about Jessie J's style transformation for a while now and this appearance on London's Royal Opera House red carpet for last night's ceremony confirms them.
Jessie opted for a floor length tuxedo style dress with a super high thing split and plunging v neckline. Complete with minimal gold accessories, gold heels and her new paired back bob, we think we could get quite used to this grown up and sophisticated version of Jessie J.
Earlier this year, the 24 year old admitted it was time for a change of direction in the style stakes, "I'm just growing up! I won't lie, when you're first bringing out music and you want people to notice, you probably overdo it, especially as a girl. But I started looking at photos and thinking, "Jess, it's too much - the outfits, the hair". I became a bit of a cartoon. I just wanted to tone it down" she added, "The Mystic Meg hair was my comfort blanket. But as you start seeing pictures of yourself at every angle you realise it's about taking risks if you want your style to evolve."

Jessie wasn't the only one styling it out for the event with Katherine Jenkins in Stella McCartney and Kylie Minogue in her usual super glamorous form. Check out the full list of the winners below.
