Kate Middleton recycles another outfit for the Paralympics opening ceremony
Last night saw the official opening ceremony of our second instalment of sporting games hitting London over the next few weeks; the 14th Paralympic Games. Who was there in full force? You guessed it. The royal family (minus Prince Harry(!)) and leading the pack in the fashion stakes was, as usual, Kate Middleton. The Duchess of Cambridge was up to her old tricks again recycling one of her previous fashion wears for another momentous occasion.
We're pleased to see Kate re-wear something from her wardrobe like, let's say, a normal person? In fact we're not sure why anyone is surprised by this behaviour; do people actually expect her to wear her clothing just once and move on to something new?
For the opening Kate opted for a gold brocade DAY Birger et Mikkelsen coat, which she's worn to a few high profile weddings over the past few years, and teamed it with a glittering gold clutch and her trademark nude L.K. Bennett courts. To no surprise, the coat isn't available anywhere, but we've shopped around to help you recreate Kate's look. Check it out below...
