John Galliano has been stripped of his French Legion of Honour by the new French President Francois Hollande. It is the latest blow for the former Dior designer after he was found guilty of making anti-Semitic comments last year. Galliano was awarded the honour by Nicolas Sarkozy in 2010. [Vogue UK]

In addition to becoming recently engaged to Chad Kroeger, Avril Lavigne has also revealed she is planning a return to the catwalk. The punk-rock singer will show her label, Abbey Dawn, at New York Fashion Week and has invited her ex-boyfriend's half-sister to model. Ever wanted a more detailed look inside Carrie Bradshaw's famous New York apartment? Well now you can. Artist Inaki Aliste Lizarralde, who helped design the floorplan for Carrie's pad, has revealed a sketch of the SATC apartment. Earlier this year the five-story home on Perry Street which was used for exterior shots of Carrie's apartment sold for a staggering £6.1 million! [Telegraph]
It seems the September issue of American Vogue has been causing some issues for the US postal service. The hefty 916-page edition, which weighs 4.5 pounds, has been deemed too bulky to fit inside mailboxes across the States.
