We hadn't realised quite how much we liked Burberry Prorsum's Autumn / Winter 2012 animal motif jumpers until it came to writing this article. Whilst many of winter's past fashion trends have included the odd animal motif (if we remember last time it was a panda and perhaps a giraffe?), it seems we're set for a fresh installment from the British label over the coming months.

Looking back over their show snaps (check out our full show report here), no wonder these novel icon separates are becoming the talk of their lineup, almost every look contained one layered underneath their lust worthy outerwear and tucked into their origami style pencil skirts (swoon). Not only that but famous faces can't get enough, including all-american actress come model Kate Bosworth.

Their hero knit, the Owl instarsia sweater, is made from super luxe cashmere in a light marl grey featuring their cute owl skitch. Having said that, it also comes with a super luxe price tag at £895 - nice for those who can.

For those who can't, there is a cheaper alternative available over at Internacionale, which comes in at a purse friendly £12.99. We're not going to pretend this is exactly the same, but layer it under a mac, tuck it into a tweed pencil skirt a la Kate Bosworth and you'll have the fashion set looking twice.

Check the two options out below.
