Chloë Sevigny for Miu Miu Autumn 2012 campaign

The rumours have been swirling for months but now it is official - Chloë Sevigny is back as the face of Miu Miu! The 37-year-old actress has been photographed by Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott for the ads which are due to break in international magazines in August. It is a return appearance for Sevigny, who previously fronted the spring 1996 campaign for Miu Miu which was captured by Juergen Teller (see below).

Sixteen years on and Chloë is back to model pieces from the fashion house's Autumn / Winter 2012 collection. Of course the bold colours and eclectic nature of Miu Miu's AW12 collection is a perfect match for the off-beat actress, who poses in a sharp black silk shirt, checked tie, printed trousers and sky-high platform heels. With her hair short and quaffed to one side and some serious green eye make-up and red lips, Sevigny is also rocking an Eighties look for this campaign. The tea cup she holds in her hand simply adds to the quirkiness and works in contrast to the feminine versus masculine aspect of the shoot.
