Lauren Conrad is taking her love of fashion and design to a new level by introducing a new range of eco-friendly accessories and travel products. The former reality TV starlet has teamed up with Blue Avocado, an Austin-based company of which Conrad became an investor last year. Named XO(eco), the range is filled with a shopper, toiletry bag, detachable pouches, a lunch case, and a travel bag designed especially for your hair straightener or curling iron. Made from recycled plastic bottles, the range has been created from a fabric known as Repreve. Each item is available in a series of cute colours and prints including little birds.

"XO(eco) is a collection of sustainable lifestyle products for travel, beauty and shopping," she says. "We wanted to create an eco collection of functional, really cute products so that people can be doing a good thing but also look good while they're doing it."

"I feel the collection represents easy steps that we can all take where looking good and doing good are aligned," she adds.

Of course this isn't her first foray into fashion. Since leaving The Hills, Conrad has been busy working on several fashion lines including Paper Crown and her collections for Kohl's. Then there is her hugely successful beauty website, The Beauty Department, and several fiction and non-fiction books behind her. Busy gal!
