Kate Moss stars in new George Michael music video
The fashion blogosphere is buzzing today over the news that Kate Moss is set to star in a new George Michael music video. Although she didn't appear in Michael's now famous supermodel-packed music video for his 1996 hit Freedom, Moss is confirmed to star in the clip for his new single, White Light.
Due to be released on August 12, the song marks Michael's comeback to music. The last time he launched any new music was in 2004. Over the past week he has sent cryptic messages out to his fans on Twitter.
"The video you are waiting for is choc full of serious eye candy, and believe it or not, I'm not talking about me!" he tweeted last week. "Oh and by the way, in the video, a certain supermodel (our Kate) saves my life. We shot two endings, one with the Heimlich manoeuvre... and one where she gives me full on CPR. Mouth to mouth. Not really:}"
Although few details of Kate's involvement have been revealed, what is known is her outfit. She is said to wear a "rock 'n' roll-inspired, all-black ensemble teamed with a grey and cream coat," according to Vogue UK.
It isn't Kate's first music video appearance, she has starred in clips for Primal Scream and The White Stripes. She also admitted last year that the would have loved to have been in Michael's Freedom video, which featured Naomi Campbell, Linda Evangelista, Christy Turlington, and Cindy Crawford.
"I wasn't in the Freedom video - I just missed it," she told the Telegraph in May. "That would have been amazing."
