Kate Middleton wears Roksanda Ilincic to Royal Academy Reception
The Duchess of Cambridge got her frock on yet again this week for a reception at London's Royal Academy of Arts. Kate Middleton represented the best of British fashion by choosing to re-wear the 'Peirdot' dress by Roksanda Ilincic. The young royal first wore the soft blue/grey dress, featuring a delicate draped neckline and small pleated panels, for when she landed in LA during her North America tour last July.
In addition to her lovely dress, Kate carried a beaded handbag and wore a pair of taupe suede pumps from LK Bennett. In a rare move, the Duchess decided to wear her hair entirely up. Instead of her usual hair down and curled at the ends style, Catherine wore her hair in a side part bouffant with a low large rolled under bun at the nape. It gave us a perfect view of her stunning custom Kiki McDonough blue topaz and diamond earrings, which she has been seen in on many occasions.
During the reception, Middleton was greeted by Prime Minister David Cameron for the UK government's GREAT campaign to promote the country's trade and tourism internationally. Earlier in the day she was dressed down to join her husband, Prince William and brother-in-law Prince Harry, to watch Zara Phillips compete in the Olympics cross-country equestrian competition. For this outing she donned an Adidas Team GB shirt which she paired with a navy blazer and trousers.
