Kate Middleton recycles Alexander McQueen for Wimbledon

The Recyclin' Duchess is back again. Kate Middleton rehashed another outfit for a day at Wimbledon this week (pictured above, right). The Duchess of Cambridge opted to wear an Alexander McQueen cable knit dress, worth £1,100, which she had previously worn a year ago to the day during her royal tour of Canada (pictured above, left).

It seems Kate was feeling a little nostalgic at Wimbledon where she chose to don the same outfit she wore on the fourth of July celebrations in Prince Edward Island last year. At the time it stirred up a frenzy amongst fashion watchers as it wasn't exactly a new piece from the fashion house. In fact, the dress is from McQueen's 2006 collection making it now over 12 seasons old. She teamed her frock with a pair of navy L.K. Bennett heels and carried The Kate, a dark blue quilted clutch designed by Jaeger in her honour. Overall, it was a perfect look for the young royal who brought a touch of the 1920s era to a day at the tennis.

For their first Wimbledon appearance of the year, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge took their seats at the front of the royal box, and was greeted with a huge applause from the crowd. They arrived just in time to see Roger Federer defeat Mikhail Youzhny in straight sets.
