Kate Hudson reprises her role as the face of Ann Taylor for Autumn
Kate Hudson is back again to front the Autumn campaign for Ann Taylor. Photographed by Tom Munro, the actress has stayed with the brand for another season. "Fall is always my favourite season. I love layers and Ann Taylor is really going for more colour and prints and fashion and stepping out of the box for their company," said Hudson.
"Sometimes when you work with big brands, you feel they have a very specific formula and I think Ann Taylor goes further with it... Ann Taylor isn't afraid of a little sexiness. I think it's about a working woman who can own her own sensuality."
Lensed at the French-inspired mansion Craven Estate, in Pasadena, California, the campaign aims to bring a touch of the swinging Sixties in Paris. Kate models a variety of outfits including dresses and statements in either black, prints or colour. In addition to fronting Ann Taylor's fashion line, Hudson is also the brand ambassador for Almay.
"As a mum, I like it. You're in and you're out and everyone's cool. You bring your kids and they run around and you take some pictures and you get to have fun with your makeup artist and hairdresser. It's a fun day," she told WWD.
Next she is gearing up for a a six-episode spot on the hit show, Glee!, in which she play a dance teacher at a fictional school where Lea Michele's character will attend after high school. "Since dance is a requirement and definitely not Rachel's strong point, you can expect some conflict between our characters," she revealed.
Sounds catty - can't wait!
