Jessica Chastain's campaign for Yves Saint Laurent is leaked online
In June she was announced as the new face of Yves Saint Laurent, now a photo of Jessica Chastain's new campaign for the fashion house has been been leaked online. It seems some sneaky person took this pic and uploaded it to Instagram at the presentation of the campaign in Paris three weeks ago.
The Help actress stars in the ads for YSL's new fragrance, Manifesto. With her flame red hair set against a white backdrop, Chastain gets a little a messy with her hands dipped in bright purple paint and splattered over one corner of the advert. Her fiery locks are a perfect match which makes me slightly sad to see that she recently chopped it all off for her role in The Disappearance of Eleanor Rigby.
Speaking last month on why they were attracted to Jessica for their Manifesto campaign, Stephan Bezy, the international general manager of Yves Saint Laurent Beauté at L'Oréal said: "We were won over by the very subtle strength of Jessica Chastain, her solar charm, her free mind. Jessica embodies the quintessence of Saint Laurent's femininity, a woman of her day and age, independent, determined, never where you expect her to be."
"Yves Saint Laurent is a brand that inspires me deeply," added Chastain. "Since its creation, the brand has conveyed strong values that I cherish, such as an unwavering commitment, absolute love and feminine audacity. This new fragrance is an emblem of it all. I am [excited] to be part of this beautiful adventure."
The campaign isn't due out until August, so what do you think of what you see so far?
