What to wear to the races at Royal Ascot whatever your budget!
It's a week until Royal Ascot begins, and we know for a fact that a lot of female attendees are still stressing about what to wear! With new strict regulations when it comes to headwear and hemlines, plus completely changeable weather that's impossible to predict, working out what to wear for one of the social events of the season has never been trickier.
So to help out, we've be put together some Ascot-friendly outfits for a variety of budgets. Needless to say these looks would also work for weddings and other social season gatherings if you find yourself somewhere where 'modest' is the fashion buzzword of choice.
All of our outfits comply with the new stricter wardrobe regulations for Ascot's formal Royal Enclosure, and will work for the grandstand too. Hemlines are of modest length, we've picked hats or headpieces to obey the 'no fascinators' rule, and all the dresses have sleeves or straps that meet the requirements of the Royal Enclosure. You can be sure if you wear these items you'll get past security!
If you haven't got Ascot tickets yet, now is your last chance to enter our competition to win two beautiful £2000 Longines watches, plus a VIP trip to the Saturday of Royal Ascot (food & drinks provided).
