It isn't much, but it is all we have to salivate over after it was confirmed yesterday that Maison Martin Margiela is the next designer to collaborate with H&M. In this sneak peek video released by Hennes & Mauritz, watch how someone (I'm guessing the elusive Mr Margiela himself) sketches a design for a darted sweater. The clip reveals an oversized ribbed knitted top featuring a roll neck and shoulder detailing. The piece is just one hint of what to expect from Margiela's forthcoming Autumn/Winter 2012 collection for the Swedish retailer. H&M released a second video for Margiela's menswear collection, you can watch it here.

The high street retailer officially announced yesterday that they have teamed up with Margiela for their next designer collection. However H&M was quick to dispel any rumours of Margiela creating the line entirely on his own. Instead the result will come from the "work of a group rather than one designer".

"Maison Martin Margiela is one of the most important and influential fashion houses of the past three decades," H&M's creative advisor Margareta van den Bosch said in a statement. "I am so excited by this radical collaboration which will give fashion lovers around the world the chance to wear special pieces, [it] will be a great and memorable fashion moment".

Argh! Does this film offer just enough to whet your appetite? Not me - I want to see more! Sadly we will have to wait until November 15 until we can get our paws on the collection which will drop at 230 H&M stores worldwide and online. Patience, patience!
