Last night some of Broadway's top stars joined famous faces from the big and small screen for the 2012 Tony Awards in New York. Hugh Jackman, Sheryl Crow, Matthew Morrison, Stockard Channing and many more were in attendance, but for us three ladies stood out on the red carpet with risky choices and interesting ensembles.

First up was Jessica Chastain, who made our dreams come true by picking a piece from Marios Schwab's Autumn / Winter 2012 collection. This is one of the dresses we picked out when we did our runway review, so we're so excited to see it on one of our favourite actresses. It's a hard one to pull off - that sheer top section leaves little to the imagination, but Jessica has the class to make it work. She topped the look with Giuseppe Zanotti ankle-strap heels.

Next Amanda Seyfried looked almost unrecognisable with a slicked-back ponytail, dramatic lipstick and a Givenchy dress with antique-look gold detail and bright orange accessories. The colour clash shouldn't work, but by keeping the rest of the look very simple, she pulls it off.

Finally, Beth Behrs had a rare opportunity to ditch that ugly mustard colours 2 Broke Girls uniform and get glam in tomato coloured backless gown embellished with tiny jewels. A bouffy ponytail and glistening makeup finishes the look - whoever's responsible for that highlighter, we approve, she's glowing!
