London College of Fashion graduate Lucy Starling is a knitwear designer to watch. She's also the first student spotlight in our brand new Catwalk Queen Student Space.

We're huge supporters of new talent and innovation, so instead of just talking about established names and brands all the time, we're scouting some new faces! We want to share some new talent with you, so keep tuned to CQ in the coming weeks for lots more future fashion talent as we profile the designers we think will be cropping up in the world of style over the next few years, as well as sharing work from wannabe journalists, photographers, makeup artists and more.

Having already created pieces for London Fashion Week favourites Felder Felder, Lucy's already making waves in the fashion industry and we hope her graduate collection - entitled Motion Captured - is enough to see her snapped up by a big name this Summer.

Proving that knitwear isn't all striped scarves and chunky jumpers, she works with texture and distressing techniques to create modern, fashion-forward knits that show great skill.
