After months of wondering just which fashion brand would sign Lana Del Rey to its books, it has been reported that she will front an upcoming campaign for H&M. The New York Post reports that Lana has signed on to be the face of Hennes & Mauritz and will shoot the campaign in New York. So far the retailer has neither confirmed or denied the rumours.

"There is always a lot of speculation on our upcoming campaigns and collaborations and we do not like to comment on rumours," a spokesperson for the label told Vogue UK. "We have lots of exciting H&M campaigns coming up this autumn and we will announce these at the start of the new season."

This isn't the first time that a fashion brand has been inspired by the American crooner. She was recently the main influence behind a handbag, 'The Del Rey,' for Mulberry. She also signed a modelling contract with NEXT Model Management in January. She has since gone on to grace the covers of several glossy magazines including British Vogue and French Glamour, as well as a string of editorial photo shoots.

H&M recently announced a new designer collaboration with Maison Martin Margiela. The Swedish retailer has also recruited a host of famous faces for its various campaigns including Georgia May Jagger, Jerry Hall, Selma Blair, Imogen Poots and Penn Badgley.
