Gisele Bündchen is *still* the world's highest paid model
Gisele Bündchen still sits on top as the world's most highly paid model. The Brazilian supermodel has maintained her spot as number one on Forbes's annual list of the world's highest paid models. She ranked at the top by bringing in a total of $45 million from May 2011 to May 2012 thanks to contracts with Versace, Esprit and Pantene.
Coming in at second place is Kate Moss who pocketed a rather minuscule $9.2 million compared to Gisele's fortune. The British model's earnings are attributed to her deals with Mango, Topshop and Rimmel. In third spot is Natalia Vodianova, who raked up $8.6 million. The 30-year-old Russian model is the face of brands including Calvin Klein and Guerlain.Victoria's Secret's Adriana Lima arrived in at fourth spot mainly due to her two Super Bowl television commercials, one for Teleflora and one for Kia. This helped her earnings skyrocket to $7.3 million. In at fifth place is Doutzen Kroes who has boosted her income to $6.9 million courtesy of contracts with Tiffany & Co., L'Oreal and Victoria's Secret.
Overall the income of the top ten models on the Forbes list comes in at just under $100 million collectively.
Gisele recently announced that she was pregnant with her second child to Tom Brady, who also receives a percentage of the profits from products that bear his wife's name including Ipanema flip flops. Lucky lad!
