Georgia May Jagger tapped for Sunglass Hut: Behind-the-scenes
It is another campaign for Georgia May Jagger. The British model and daughter of Jerry Hall has been tapped to be the new face of Sunglass Hut. Starting from September, Georgia will star in campaigns for both print and online.
"With her history and her background, but also her very cool, simple and playful relationship with fashion, we believed [Jagger] could be perfect [for Sunglass Hut]," said Fabio D'Angelantonio, chief executive officer of the Luxottica-owned firm. "We talked to her about the project and we got her extremely excited about the category, about the Sunglass Hut brand, and we decided to go ahead with this partnership."
Photographed by Daniel Jackson at a North London studio, the campaign features Georgia glammed up with teased hair and bright red lips. She poses in sunglasses from brands such as Tiffany & Co., Versace and Vogue Eyewear.
"I think everyone knows Sunglass Hut - they're in every airport. I'm always buying new Ray-Bans," she said. Her current favourite lenses include "younger styles" by Persol and Ray-Ban "in bright colours." "I love the folding ones too, as they don't break," she said.
In addition to Sunglass Hut, Jagger has also fronted campaigns for Hudson Jeans and most recently she was announced as the new face of Madonna's juniors line, Material Girl. Busy times for the 22 year-old, I wonder what is next on the cards for her.
