Last night Coast opened its highly anticipated new flagship store on London's Oxford Street. Alesha Dixon opened the store with an exclusive musical set (clad in Coast, natch). Also in attendance were Denise Van Outen, Melanie Sykes, Little Boots, Louise Roe and many more. You can see picks of the celeb attendees by clicking the image above.

The Coast flagship will offer something a little bit more special than your run-of-the-mill store or concession. It's focussed around the idea of 'the ultimate dress-up experience', with larger fitting rooms, beautiful decor and a luxurious design by The British Design Award's Designer of the Year, Lee Broom.

A limited edition range of special 'flagship only' pieces will be available exclusively at the store - we showed you some of the best bits last month when photos of Elettra Wiedemann modelling the dresses were released. This range will be frequently refreshed with limited runs, making them must-haves for Coast fans.

There's also a vintage section, housing the 'Forget Me Not' range of exclusively sourced vintage gowns that fit in with Coast's feminine aesthetic. We saw some of these dresses at the press day - expect 60s brocades, 50s prom dresses and elegant 70s maxis. Prices range from £70 to £900.

As well as Coast's own line and the vintage pieces, shoppers will also be able to buy Martine Wester Crystal Rock Swarovski Elements jewellery, costume jewellery by Anton Heunis, Jean-Michel Cazabat shoes, handmade William Chambers headpieces and shapewear from Body Wrap in the flagship store.

The new store is located at 318 Oxford Street, a short walk from Oxford Circus tube.
