Yay or Nay Wednesday: in honor of the Queen's Jubilee we present Miu Miu's mid-heel courts
With the Queen's Jubilee upon us, everyone is all abuzz about royal fashion - but it isn't the young Kate Middleton on their minds right now. Well, at least they've allotted some room for the 60-year reigning monarch as well for a moment. With tonight's Celebration of the Arts honoring many of fashion's finest at the Royal Academy of Arts, everyone is touting the Queen's titular style.
"I'm not a royalist as such, but I love the royal family. I think the Queen's really cool. I love how she dresses - she always looks so demure," Agyness Deyn, who is attending the party with Henry Holland, told Vogue.
One of the Hallmarks of the Queen's demure style is the mid-heel court shoe. This bubblegum pink bow-embellished version by Miu Miu, £355, is a bit more updated than the courts the Queen typically favors. But they do represent the sort of mumsy low-stacked-heel silhouette in question. What do you think of the style?
