Leicester Square was transformed into an enchanted forest last night for the London premiere of upcoming fairytale film, Snow White and the Huntsman, in which Twilight's Kristen Stewart stars alongside the gorgeous Charlize Theron, Sam Calfin and Avengers actor, Chris Hemsworth (swoon). I'd been looking forward to this premiere almost as much as the movie, and thankfully the leading ladies didn't disappoint - both Charlize and Kristen went all out in gothic, romantic dresses. The question is, who do you think of the fairest of them all?

CHARLIZETHERON2012EVIL.jpgFirst up was Charlize, who took to the turf in a magical Christian Dior gown from the brands Spring 2012 Couture collection. There are few people who could rock this sheer dress and make it look equally sophisticated as it is sultry, but Charlize pulls it off with aplomb. The 36-year-old actress opted for black hotpants underneath (which personally, I prefer to the nude worn on the catwalk) and accessorized with a black clutch with silver detailing, simple black heels and a pair of green Solange Azagury Partridge earrings. Although I'm not the biggest fan of the jewellery choice, I love the vintage inspired rolled hair and smoky eyes. Has Charlize ever looked hotter? Far from her cold-hearted character, the evil Queen, Charlize beamed her way down the carpet, embracing Kristen warmly and joked around with Christopher Hemsworth, looking very much like the mother hen of the cast. Aww.

KRISTENSTEWART2012SNOW.jpgNext came Kristen, who as usual, tried her best to hide from the pap's and the crowds before she walked through the forest, quickly changing out of her beloved trainers into a pair of heels (we don't blame you Kristen, but perhaps next time you could do it in the car?) The Snow White star wore a lacey embellished Marchesa dress, with beautiful long sleeves, intricate embroidery and beading, and sheer sections across the bust. Despite looking a little awkward at first (if she ever stops looking nervous I think I'll have a heart attack) Kristen loosened up after a hug from her co-star Charlize, and looked more than happy to smile for the cameras and make conversation with her fans. Although I don't like the ruffle skirt element, I loved the detailed back of the gown, and on the whole I think Kristen worked it well. She kept her accessories simple with a pair of black Jimmy Choo's and a gold chain twisted into a bun. As usual Kristen opted for a shimmering smoky eye and kept her skin a flawless white befitting of her character.
