Kelly Brook designs her first clothing collection for New Look
She has a long association with New Look and now Kelly Brook has partnered with the high street retailer for her first designed clothing collection. The buxom actress/model previously launched her début lingerie line for New Look back in January, now she is following it up with her first full fashion line.
Peppered with pieces that have been inspired by her favourite decade - the 1950s, Kelly has created a collection which aims to flatter the female silhouette, enhance waist lines and bust lines and sit against the figure like an screen siren from the golden years. The collection comprises of playful tea dresses, peplums, capri pants, '50s-inspired swimsuits, wedges, floral playsuits and high waist shorts.
"There is so much focus on size zero models that I wanted to design a collection for real women with real budgets and a sense of style," she told the Daily Mail. Referencing old photographs from the French Riviera, she added: "I love St Tropez so I looked at pictures of Brigette Bardot bare foot on the beach in a cute dress and shopping at the markets in wedges and capri pants. I want to be that girl in the picture!"
It seems fitting then that Kelly Brook recently hit up the Cannes Film Festival in a major way. Prices for her New Look range start at a very reasonable £14.99 and go up to just £39.99. The collection launches today at New Look stores and online here. We've selected a few of our favourite picks from the new collection below with links to buy if any of them take your fancy.
