Kate Moss turns photographer and auctioneer for Marie Curie
Oh Kate Moss. How do you manage to a. still party all night, and b. look this good with only a hint of makeup at nearly 40 years old? Our favourite party girl has certainly toned it down since marrying her handsome husband Jamie Hince, but the super star model decided to let her hair down at the Marie Curie Cancer Care Fundraiser at Claridge's last night in London. This isn't the first time Kate has taken part in charitable work this year - earlier this month the supermodel donated a personal portrait of herself taken by Sølve Sundsbø, in an effort to raise much-needed funds for the NSPCC and its Rebuilding Childhoods Appeal.
Kate joined a host of celebrity guests at the fundraiser, including The Rolling Stones' bassist Ronnie Wood and legendary photographer David Bailey. As well as taking to the stage to auction off a Wood painting of Rod Stewart (which fetched a cool £12,000), the 38-year-old borrowed her friend David's hefty Nikon and snapped away happily throughout the evening. As one of the most photographed women in the world, I'm sure Kate has picked up a few tips and tricks from the professionals! Kate clearly enjoyed the charitable event (which raised around £620, 000 for Marie Curie) and looked gorgeous in a black maxi dress with a cut away back and thigh high split, her trusty shaggy fur jacket, and black and gold accessories. It's great to see Kate rocking the maxi - she always does it so well with a mix of rock chick and bohemian style. Want to get Kate's look? Check out our outfit picks below.
