what to expect when you're expecting LA premiere.jpg

The starlets were out in full force overnight for the world première of What to Expect When You're Expecting in LA. It was a red carpet like no other with two of the worlds biggest A-listers fronting up to support their new film. Wearing two completely different looks Jennifer Lopez and Cameron Diaz were like polar opposites.

For her red carpet turn, JLo glammed it up in a full-length beige pleated gown by Maria Lucia Hohan. Featuring a plunging neckline, bat-wing sleeves and a belted waist the dress was a great style for the diva but perhaps not the best colour. For Cameron, the look of choice was simple - short, black and sexy. Her knitted black minidress offered the perfect opportunity to show off her shapely legs. Keeping her accessories to minimum, Cam opted for a pair of black tear-drop earrings and nude Mary Jane heels.

JLo and Cam's co-stars Brooklyn Decker, Elizabeth Banks, and Anna Kendrick were also there. Adding a splash of colour to the evening was Brooklyn who opted for a Giambattista Valli acid yellow floral print drop waist dress. It was an unusual choice for the model-turned-actress and not one that I'm overly fond of. Meanwhile Elizabeth brought a touch of elegance with by choosing a beautiful deep red Alexander McQueen creation with full skirt and black detailing up the front. Her amazing two-tone Mary Jane McQueen pumps completed her look exceptionally well. Finally, Anna also delivered on the feminine front with an embellished nude dress by Elie Saab couture. She matched her dazzling dress with a pair of gold strappy sandals.

Based on the number one selling pregnancy guide, What to Expect When You're Expecting is a romantic comedy which stars an ensemble cast. It also features a number of cameos by Cheryl Cole and Whitney Port. The film revolves around five couples experiencing the highs and lows of having a baby and will hit cinemas in the UK on 25th May.
