Designers dream up wedding dress sketches for Angelina Jolie
It has been barely five minutes since Brad Pitt popped the question to Angelina Jolie, but this isn't stopping designers from dreaming up what they believe she should wear on her big day. Bridal masters Badgley Mischka, Monique Lhuillier and Reem Acra have submitted their design sketches to People magazine for what they'd dress Ang in if they were given such an incredible job.
"[Something] like this [pictured above, left] would be perfect for Angelina," Mark Badgley and James Mischka say. "Its beaded bodice would give her just the right amount of sparkle, and the fitted tulle skirt with godets makes it elegant and totally glamorous."
For Lhuillier her vision for the soon-to-be-Mrs-Pitt is vastly different. She believes a gown comprising of Chantilly lace, a gorgeous V-neckline, low back and a high centre split (for all those Leg-Gate moments) would be ideal for the actress [pictured above, middle]. "Angie has style," she says. "She takes a classic look and adds a sultry, sexy edge and makes it her own."
While if Angelina happened to choose Reem Acra to design her wedding dress, then she would be in for something slinky and embellished. The Lebanese designer says he'd dress her in a figure-hugging ivory satin gown which featured a dramatic detail on the right shoulder [pictured above, right].
Either way Ang should be pretty chuffed that one, let alone three of these talented designers are sketching wedding dress designs for her. I know plenty of women who would happily swap shoes with her, me included.
