One of the biggest events on the Cannes calendar, the amfAR Cinema Against Aids gala drew A listers, fashionistas and a few surprise faces (well hello, Jessie J) together for an evening of very glamorous fundraising.

Evening gowns were the choice for most attendees, with only Diane Kruger brave enough to go for a shorter length (though it was Chanel, so it was hardly 'casual' in comparison).

Kirsten Dunst was angelic in pale-hued Louis Vuitton, while Cara Delevigne flew the flag for British fashion in a green grecian Burberry Prorsum number.

Versace was also strongly represented. Milla Jovovich and Rose McGowan wore Atelier Versace, while Doutzen Kroes opted for a white strapless number from the ready to wear line. We also saw a second outing for the orange Atelier Versace number first worn so brilliantly by Jada Pinkett Smith, this time worn by an 'unknown guest' (oh, the shame).

We also loved the high octane glamour of Georgina Chapman's ostrich feather number (Marchesa, of course), and Kim Kardashian looked better than ever in a yellow vintage inspired Elie Saab dress. Click the image above to see a gallery of all the best gowns.
