The Costume Institute's Met Gala just wouldn't be the same without a few talking points. Christina Ricci was certainly one of those talking points all right. The actress brought the drama with her onto the red carpet at last night's event thanks to a sweeping gown designed by Thakoon.

The show-stopping number had photographers in a frenzy thanks to the giant pinky cream satin bow tied to the back of the dress with ends that fell to the floor. This was in addition to the detailed black lattice-style bodice and skirt which featured a slit to show off a smidge of midriff. Next you may turn you attention to the asymmetrical neckline which was ruffled in a sculptured way across her chest and joined up with the bow at the back.

Interesting, very interesting.

As for the rest of her outfit, the 32-year-old opted for a pair of simple black pumps and bling-tastic jewellery by Tiffany & Co. With her hair parted to one side, such a dress calls for a classic, sleek pulled back 'do which is just what Christina went for. Attagirl!
