Met_Gala_Rosie.jpgNow there is no need to sit and wait while the first images from the Costume Institute Gala trickle in via fashion blogs like ours. Because this year's biggest fashion party will be live-streamed straight into your homes and offices on the Web!

On May 7th simply log on to Vogue, Amazon or the website for the Metropolitan Museum of Art (Met) to see all the red carpet action live as it happens. Not only that, this special internet feed will also have its own hosts - William Norwich and model Elettra Wiedemann - who will present the live coverage and interview celebrities as they arrive.

The live stream will begin at 6.30pm to 8.30pm with users able to offer their opinions and commentary via Twitter. Questions can be submitted by using the hashtag #metquestions with further insights to be shared through Facebook.

This year's gala co-chairs include newly-married Carey Mulligan, Miuccia Prada and Anna Wintour. The live-stream project is a collaboration between Vogue, Amazon and the Met which also underpins the Schiaparelli and Prada: Impossible Conversations exhibition.
