I'm not sure if brides ever have a dearth of lingerie to choose from, but WWD is reporting that Fall 2012 is particularly big for bridal innerwear. All things lacy and white are trending. There's no rule saying white lingerie is strictly for the matrimonial sort, so I say we can all partake. Like much of the fashion world, the lingerie industry seems to be tending even more towards lace for Fall than usual. This short gown from Jonquil by Diane Samandi is sexy but not too sultry to lounge around in. I think most of us want lingerie that can go beyond the bedroom and this is a perfect example. It has that retro, luxurious look that makes a piece special.

Jonguil has been around since 1980 and designer Diane Samandi was inspired by her family heritage in old Hollywood to create pieces reminiscent of that era. She started out creating bikinis and eventually made her way into the lingerie market, becoming a special favorite with brides.

Jonquil is sold at Neiman Marcus, Saks Fifth Avenue, Bergdorf Goodman, and Plums Lingerie in England.
