Summer Strallen at the Olivier Awards
The celebrities were out in force last night (despite the changeable weather) for Britain's glittering theatrical ceremony, the Olivier Awards.
Held at London's Royal Opera House, many of the female stars graced the red carpet in black, and whilst we'd never knock a classic LBD, it can get a little monotonous at an awards ceremony - especially alongside the tuxedo clad men - so it was a breath of fresh air to see Hollyoaks actress and Andrew Lloyd Webber's ingénue, Summer Strallen, looking lovely in a floral number that swept the floor.
The actress who starred in Lloyd Webbers Phantom of the Opera sequel, Love Never Dies, accessorised with coral coloured nails, simple makeup and delicate jewellery, ensuring all eyes were on that gorgeous floral maxi. If you'd like to get your hands on the exact same dress, it might not set you back as much as you think; the 'Tiffane' is from Ted Baker and costs £199!
Summer definitely did the dress justice, complimenting the feminine cut with an elegant pearl necklace and loosely pinned hair, but I can't help thinking that the muted satin clutch let the outfit down. What do you think?
