Everyone's favourite Duchess (Kate Middleton if you really have to ask...) braved the April showers yet again this morning alongside her husband, Prince William, in honour of the Scott-Amundsen Centenary Race to the South Pole, which raised funds for the British Legion. Appearing at the Goldsmiths Hall in London, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge both opted for demure 'day event' looks, as apposed to their marginally more relaxed outfits at last nights 'African Cats' documentary premiere, where Kate looked stunning in a chic Matthew Williamson dress.

Catherine looked elegant as ever in a lady-like in a head-to-toe blue ensemble, consisting of a tweed suit from Rebecca Taylor, suede court shoes and of course, one of her favourite clutch bags by Anya Hindmarch (god bless our Queen of the clutch). The navy jacket, which features floral accents at the neckline and classic fringe detailing along the seams was available to buy from Neimanmarcus earlier today, but as always the Middleton effect has taken hold and it has since sold out! The New Zealand-born designer who's twitter bio describes the brand as, "best known for providing the eternally evolving modern girl with fresh, feminine clothing to compliment and refine her individual style", has yet to comment on the Kate's outfit choice, but we doubt she'll have anything but praise for fashion forward Duchess.

As the royal couple continue with their hectic social schedule following Williams deployment with the RAF, we'll no doubt be seeing a lot more of Kate in the lead up to her first wedding anniversary and the Queen's Jubilee - in fact the pair are set to attend yet another royal appointment this afternoon at the Imperial War Museum, and we're expecting an outfit change!
