Emily Blunt wows at the Tribeca Film Festival
Emily Blunt stole the spotlight at Tribeca's Film Festival in New York last night, taking to the red carpet in a gorgeous embroidered dress by Jason Wu. The Devil Wears Prada actress looked stunning at the premiere for her newest movie, The Five-Year Engagement, a romantic comedy following the story of an engaged couple (Emily and Jason Segel) who struggle in their journey down the aisle. I love Emily's look here. The strapless dress from Jason Wu's Pre-Fall 2012 collection hugs her figure perfectly, and unlike Dakota Fanning and Ruth Wilson who both removed the belts from their designer dresses this week, Emily has actually added one to hers, giving her outfit a more contemporary feel.
For me, Emily is one English actress who always does well on the red carpet - her style is effortless, she knows what suits her, and she's not afraid to do something different with her hair (celebrities take note; there is nothing more boring than the same hair style over and over again). Emily oozes modern day glamour with her winged eyeliner, hot pink lipgloss and sleek side swept up-do, keeping it fresh by accessorising with emerald drop earrings and cute clashing coloured 'Devon' heels by Alice + Olivia - the same shoes that Anna Sophia Robb wore in orange recently for the first official 'Carrie Diaries' photo. Aside from the slightly mumsy Valentino clutch bag, this has to be one of Emily's best premiere looks so far.
