Work the trend: underwear as outerwear
One thing that's become apparent during lingerie month is that there are loads of beautiful styles out there that deserve to be seen. And while I wouldn't suggest hitting the high street in nothing but your plunge bra, there are clever ways to flash a bit of lingerie or work the 'underwear as outerwear' trend without looking like you forgot to get dressed.
The key is to keep the look modern, and opt for things like the bralet, longline bra or the bodysuit, which blur the lines between clothing and lingerie instantly. ASOS have some great lacy pieces with cutouts in unexpected places, which you can team with items of clothing that offer a bit more coverage for a Jessie J-inspired, slightly 90s vibe.
I've gone for a graphic pencil skirt, bold coloured shoes, and a leather biker jacket to add some warmth and make sure it really is just a flash of flesh, not an expanse!
