Kate Middleton recycles her mum's dress for her first public speech
We all know how much Kate Middleton loves to recycle her clothes, but who knew she had starting dipping into her mother's wardrobe. During a visit to The Treehouse children's hospice in Ipswich, Suffolk this week she strode out in a purple-blue dress by Reiss which was once worn to Ascot in 2010 by her mum, Carole Middleton.
The £139 'Trina' dress featuring buttons up the front and a black wide belt seemed like the perfect pick for the Duchess of Cambridge to also show off her public speaking skills. Kate appeared cool, calm and collected as she gave her first public address. Her three-minute speech was executed very smoothly and the Duchess appeared right at home in front of the mic, even making a cute mention of wishing William was there with her. Aww, don't you just lurve her?
